I haven't really updated in quite a while.  I've had a rough passed couple of months.  Last time I wrote, I mentioned little Lexi.  She was my brother-in-law's niece who had a cancerous tumor on her brain stem.  She passed about a month and a half ago.  She was such a light in everyone's lives.  On top of dealing with her death, I've had to get situated in Flint.  I started college two weeks ago.  Living on campus isn't bad.  Surprisingly I've found myself opening up a little more with people.  I've managed to make a few friends, lost what I thought was a good one however.  My new roommate is a joy.  She's a great person really, and I'm glad

Earlier this week I found out that my brother-in-law's six year old niece, whom I am incredibly close with,  has a tumor in her brain stem.  It is inoperable and cancerous.  They have decided to give her radiation treatments for six weeks, as this will make her more comfortable and extend her life for six to eight months.  This has made me think about life and how most do nothing with their lives.  My way to cope with this situation is to start a bucket list.  So here it is. My Bucket List: 1.  Cook my way through a cookbook. 2.  Get my masters degree in social work. 3.  Donate $1,000 to a charity. 4.  Open a horse ranch for autistic chi

Realizations suck.  It's ridiculous how you can go a couple months without talking to someone who was one of your absolute best friends, and then BAM!  You're completely out of their life.  It only made me realize that some people only hold temporary spots in our lives.
